I hope you're doing well! We have an exciting Senior Cloud Engineer opportunity available in Quincy, MA. This role requires a hybrid work model and is a 7-month contract position. If you're experienced in AWS, Cloud Data Architecture, ETL, GitHub, and Informatica (IICS), this could be a great fit for you!
Position Details:
- Location: Quincy, MA (New England area like Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut candidates only)
- Duration: 7 months (Temporary)
- Work Model: Hybrid
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification or Cloud Data Engineer Certification (Informatica IICS)
- Snowflake certification
- Experience with Cognos/Tableau reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based data management systems with a focus on AWS and Snowflake.
- Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines in centralized and decentralized architectures.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security standards.
- Work with Informatica (IICS), GitHub (CI/CD), and Airflow (Orchestration).
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to implement best practices in cloud data solutions.
- Optimize data storage, ingestion, processing, and governance on cloud platforms.
- Lead design sessions and facilitate architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in Cloud Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and ETL development
- 3-5 years of AWS-based cloud solutions development
- Experience with Snowflake, Unix/Linux, and Shell Scripting
- Hands-on expertise in Informatica (IICS), GitHub (CI/CD), and Airflow
- Ability to manage multi-terabyte data platforms in cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of system administration, networking, and backup & recovery
- Experience working with highly sensitive healthcare data
