Job Title : Snowflake Developer
Location : Louisville, Kentucky (Day 1 Onsite)
Duration : 12+ Months Contract
Job Description :
· Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake.
· Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries within the Snowflake environment.
· Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools.
· Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data-driven business objectives.
Skills and qualifications:
· 7-8 Years of experience in MS SQL server / database technology and at-least 5 years of experience in Snowflake platform
· Proficient in SQL and familiar with ETL processes
· Hands-on experience with Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Dynamic tables, Data Masking, External Tables, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, etc.
· Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions
· Experience in performance tuning, optimizing large complicated SQL statements and cost optimization in Snowflake platform
· Proficient in handling semi structured data in Snowflake
· Experience in SSIS package development
· Experience with data modeling, data migration and cloud computing environments [Azure]
· Proficient understanding of ADO, GIT
· Understanding of data compliance and security best practices
· Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
· Experience in Snowpark, Python and ML programming is a plus
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Team player
