Job Title: Network engineer with VMWare SD-WAN
Location: New Jersey (Remote)
Duration: 12+ Months
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and migration of on-premises network to Azure Cloud
- Configuration and Troubleshooting of Palo Alto Firewalls
- Configuration and Troubleshooting of Azure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Virtual WAN for hybrid connectivity
- Configuration and Troubleshooting of Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager for traffic distribution
- Implementation of Azure Firewall, DDoS Protection, and Web Application Firewall (WAF )
Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), NAT, and VPNs]
- Proficiency in network security principles like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and load balancing
- Expertise in Azure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Virtual WAN for hybrid connectivity
- Experience with Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager for traffic
- Implementation of Azure Firewall, DDoS Protection, and Web Application Firewall (WAF Qualifications we seek in you!
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- VMWare SD-WAN and Zscaler ZIA
