Job Title: Cloud Migration Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture Design:
- Design and build scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures for various applications and systems.
- Architect cloud solutions based on AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and more.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver optimized cloud solutions.
- Cloud Migration & Optimization:
- Lead and assist with migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to AWS cloud.
- Develop strategies for optimizing AWS environments for performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Security & Compliance:
- Ensure cloud architectures meet security and compliance requirements, applying best practices for identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure networking.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses of cloud environments.
- Develop disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical systems.
Cost Management:
Monitor AWS resource usage and optimize for cost efficiency.- Implement cost allocation strategies and recommend best practices for cost-effective architecture.
- Develop and enforce governance policies around cloud resource usage.
- Devops Setup and Management:
- Work with DevOps and engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and other cloud automation strategies.
- Hands on experience in AWS code build and Azure devops.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using AWS tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and availability issues within AWS infrastructure.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of cloud architecture and implement improvements.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including design diagrams and deployment guides.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, infrastructure health, and cost optimization efforts.
