Position: Java Technical Lead
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Duration: Fulltime Permanent
Position Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Program Architecture: Lead the architectural design of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, defining project scope and developing comprehensive project plans.
- Development: Oversee the development process, writing clean, efficient, and testable Java code. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
- Testing: Implement and oversee testing strategies, ensuring thorough testing and debugging of all features before deployment.
- Deployment: Manage the deployment of software solutions to production environments, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
- Software Maintenance and Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of existing software applications.
- Project Management: Lead project teams, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Leadership and Liaison: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliver quality services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Java, Java EE, and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs).
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and ORM tools.
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Adaptive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
