Senior Developer-Python

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer with
over 6+ years of proficiency in Python programming. The ideal
candidate should possess extensive knowledge of important Python
libraries and frameworks and demonstrate a strong ability to leverage
them effectively. They should be adept at utilizing libraries for
calling REST APIs, connecting to relational databases, executing SQL
and PL/SQL queries, interfacing with various NoSQL databases,
optimizing script performance, and proficiently handling complex JSON
structures and data manipulations and writing custom or generic
scripts as reusable components..
Responsibilities:
1. Develop robust and scalable Python applications and scripts with a
focus on performance optimization.
2. Utilize Python libraries to call REST APIs and handle responses efficiently.
3. Create scripts to establish connections with relational databases
(RDBMS) and execute SQL and PL/SQL queries.
4. Design and implement scripts to interact with diverse NoSQL
databases like MongoDB, Radis etc. seamlessly.
5. Develop custom or generic scripts as reusable components to be
integrated into various applications.
6. Employ efficient data structures and algorithms to write clear and
concise scripts, considering performance implications.
7. Work proficiently with complex JSON structures, performing data
manipulations and transformations efficiently.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements
and translate them into technical solutions.
9. Perform code reviews, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions
for optimization.
10. Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Python applications.
11. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Python and
related technologies.
12. Document code, processes, and procedures effectively.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
3. Proficiency in Python programming language and its standard libraries.
4. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating
them into Python applications.
5. Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL,
PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including writing SQL and PL/SQL queries.
6. Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
9. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms to write
clear, concise, and performant scripts.
11. Proficiency in working with complex JSON structures and performing
data manipulations efficiently.
12. Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
