Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead
Atlanta, GA
12+ Months contract
Job Description:
- Design & Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions, GitHub registry and Azure Cloud native solutions.
- Identify manual processes, propose automation solutions and lead the execution efforts.
- Review current state, identify bottlenecks, bring solutions to the table and help execute POCs.
- Lead the technical discussions on multi-tenant deployment processes, GitHub branching, CI/CD pipelines, disaster recovery processes, microservices and Kubernetes
- Interface with the security team on technical discussions on Auth0, container scanning, non-functional requirements and execute the proposed solutions.
- Review the existing bottlenecks in smoke and regression testing and work with the testing tool vendor to bring and implement solutions.
- Analyze the error rate in the current production mobile and API systems and quickly diagnose them.
- Support the production environment readiness and application go-live dates
- Leverage blue-green and canary release deployment strategies to minimize the disruption from unanticipated deployment issues
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with SRE and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Azure services
- Experience with mobile/web applications and APIs
- Experience with automated deployment tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex software projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline and automation using GitHub Actions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), terraform CDKTF, helm charts and shell/PowerShell scripting
- Experience working with containers and Azure Kubernetes Service clusters
- Experience with test automation tool, BrowserStack
- Experience troubleshooting issues with end-to-end tracing and logs in Azure App insights
