Work location: Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a MicroStrategy Administrator, you will be responsible for managing
and optimizing our MicroStrategy BI platform to support our client''s
data analytics and reporting needs. You will work closely with
business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure the
delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable business intelligence
solutions.

* Platform Management: Administer and manage the MicroStrategy
environment, including installation, configuration, upgrading, and
maintenance of the platform.
* User Support: Provide support to end-users, including
troubleshooting issues, performance tuning, and optimizing
MicroStrategy applications and reports.
* Security: Implement and manage user security, roles, and permissions
within the MicroStrategy environment to ensure data security and
compliance with company policies.
* Data Integration: Work with data engineers and IT teams to integrate
data from various sources into the MicroStrategy environment, ensuring
data accuracy and integrity.
* Report and Dashboard Development: Assist in the design, development,
and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and other BI solutions to meet
business requirements.
Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of the
MicroStrategy platform and reports to ensure efficient and effective
operation.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the
MicroStrategy environment, including architecture, processes,
configurations, and procedures.
* Training and Development: Provide training and support to end-users
to maximize their understanding and use of MicroStrategy tools and
capabilities.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather
requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive
business insights and decision-making.
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a MicroStrategy
Administrator, preferably within the retail food and beverage services
industry.
* Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MicroStrategy
administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and
troubleshooting.
* Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases and
data warehousing concepts. Experience with SQL and database platforms
such as SQL Server, Oracle, or others.
* BI Tools: Experience with designing and developing reports and
dashboards using MicroStrategy.
* Performance Tuning: Proven experience in performance tuning and
optimization of MicroStrategy applications.
* Security: Knowledge of MicroStrategy security features and best
practices for user and data security.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on
delivering high-quality solutions.
* Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with
the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

* Industry Experience: Experience in the retail food and beverage
services industry.
* Cloud Experience: Experience with deploying and managing
MicroStrategy in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google
Cloud.
* Certifications: MicroStrategy certification is a plus.
