Required Skills
6-9 years' experience as Data Engineer
Specializes in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using ETL tools Matillion, DataStage etc.
Experience in Snowflake, Netezza.
Experience with Data warehousing techniques(Star Schema, Snowflaking, Normalization, Denormalization, Aggregations)
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical concepts effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to address complex data challenges effectively.
Responsibilities
Collaborates closely with the Project Manager (PM), Architect, and Administrators to develop ETL processes and reports.
Responsible for ensuring smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading processes as an ETL developer.
Create, execute and document unit test plans for ETL and data integration processes and programs
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Designs and develops ETL processes to efficiently extract data from various sources and transform it for analytical purposes.
Ensures the reliability, accuracy, and performance of ETL processes and reports through rigorous testing and optimization.
Maintains documentation for ETL processes, including technical specifications and user guides.
Monitor and administer automated and manual data integration and ETL jobs
Provides support and troubleshooting assistance for ETL processes as needed.
Stays updated with the latest trends and best practices in BI, ETL, and data analytics.
