Job Description
| Mechanical Systems Design Engineer |
| Job Responsibilities: |
| Machine Design: Designs a complete and complex framework, sub-system, system or product. |
| Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. |
| Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses. |
| Cross functional interaction to create block diagrams, system safety strategies, and identify component requirements for software developers. |
| Participate and coordinate in design reviews, including FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis. |
| Provides Subsystem design, documentation (schematics and assembly drawings), and packaging of sub-assemblies. |
| Manages design and drafting staff for engineering projects, monitoring schedules and budgets. |
| stakeholder management from marketing to supplier |
| Creates design project proposal, planning, man power calculation |
| Skills Required: |
| 10+ years in design & development of capital equipment, preferably Semiconductor |
| Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of mechanical system design engineer experience; or Master's Degree with 2 years of mechanical system design engineer experience. Degrees in mechanical, or systems engineering preferred. |
| Experience in High Vacuum components and clean room procedures. |
| Experience in gas and liquid fluid handling systems: piping, valves, flow control and measurement. |
| Experience in High Voltage components and applications. |
| Works with Pneumatic and cooling system components and controls. |
| Familiar with National Electric Code (NEC), ISO procedures, and Lockout/Tagout requirements. |
| Familiar with SEMI S2-0200, SEMI S8-0600, and CE certification. |
| General working knowledge of 3D CAD design tools. CREO and or Solid Works |
| Experience using engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD etc) in the design process given strong consideration |
| Engineering change management, PLM experience added advantage. |
