Client: Texas Health and Human Services Commission Position: Devops Engineer Location: Austin, Texas 78744(remote) Duration: 12 Months
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years required on below all skills
- Experience in Architecture, design, development and deployment of application and integration with tools.
- Solution design and implementation incorporating architectures such as SOA, Event Driven, MVC, Django, serverless and spring frameworks.
- Experience with coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP (JavaServer Pages / Stored Procedures), JSF/Struts (JavaServer Faces, Apache Struts Framework), XML (eXtensible Markup Language),
- Experience in IT automated solutions design
- Experience integrating applications with third party IAM, SFTP, middleware, database and other solutions
- Experience with script languages such as Groovy, Python, Shell, Ruby, bash, shell, Perl
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience in IT automated solutions design
- Experience with Microsoft office, Visio, Project and other planning and communication tools.
- Experience with WebSphere ND, MQ, Oracle, Java, SQL tools (PL/SQL developer, SQL plus), LDAP, Splunk, Dynatrace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer or similar certification.
- Familiarity with Containers and Container orchestration Kubernetes platforms such as PODMAN, docker, EE/OpenShift/Rancher
- Familiarity with WebSphere Liberty, Tomcat, JBOSS
- Familiarity with containerization and with installing and maintaining DevSecOps tools on Kubernetes platform using Helm Charts
