Java Software Engineer
Location: Plano, TX
Job Specs:
5+ years of experience object-oriented programming in Java, J2EE
5+ years Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, Jquery, Angular/React), Node JS
Experience building REST and SOAP webservices using Java.
Basic understanding of accessibility and security compliance
Should have worked on all elements of SDLC life cycle (Build, design, development, deployment)
Knowledge on Cloud environments including AWS is a plus
Description
Part of Web Channel Engineering team responsible for the full development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Design and Development of Resilient and scalable software solutions for Hybrid environments (Private cloud, Public cloud and On-Premises, Mobile, Desktop).
Work with Product managers and Stakeholders on User centric design and requirements.
Strong fundamentals in Object Oriented design and programming .
Able to work with back-end, front-end software development including database management and third-party libraries.
Expertise in modern java script frameworks (React, Angular)
Experience developing automated test suites and test data, Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience working with CICD pipeline
Experience with Messaging service MQ/Kafka
Provide L4 and production support when necessary for the Apps we develop
Experience with database technologies like Oracle, Cassandra
Experience with SQL.
