Note: must have minimum 10+ years experience and ideal candidate will be someone who worked as network engineer in data environment
Role Description:
- Hands-on experience on Cisco Data Network designing, implementing and operating complex enterprise networks that include switching, Routing, Wireless and Firewall .
- Installation and configuration experience of ASR Router, ASA with Firepower , Nexus , Catalyst switch, Cisco Wireless & DNA application
- Administrative experience and working knowledge of Cisco ISE, Radius, Cisco Merkai VPN, and SSL security configurations
- Expert knowledge in routing (eigrp,BGP), multicast, vxlan and overlay protocols
- Expert knowledge in network security technologies (Firewalls, IPSec VPNs, Client VPN 802.1X)
- Expert knowledge in switching protocols (RPVST, MST, VLANs)
- Expert knowledge in Wireless operations plans for campus wireless networks,
- Monitor and analyze statistical data to develop improvement plans for Wireless network and application performance.
- Ability to document implemented design to ensure a smooth transition to daily operational support.
- Liaise with existing IT team and business stakeholders for operations and project related activities.
- This role requires onsite presence and travel between sites for operations and projects related activities from day one.
- Knowledge of Cisco SmartNet license
- Knowledge on network automation via Python, APIs
- A flexible work schedule is a requirement
- Healthcare experience is an added advantage.
- CCNP Data certification is an added advantage
