Position : BigQuery Data Architect
Location : Nashville, TN (Initially Remote)
Duration : 12+ Months Contract
Position Description:
· 12+ Years of Experience is preferred.
· Google Cloud Platform Professional data engineer certification or Google Cloud Platform Professional Architect certification is Preferred.
· Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
· Ability to build tactical and strategic roadmap on Google Cloud Platform.
· Experience in defining the technical architecture on Google Cloud Platform involving cloud storage, big query, dataproc, cloud functions, dataflow.
· Thorough understanding of Data migration with Hands on experience in migrating the on-premises data pipelines and data warehouse to Google Cloud Platform Big Query.
· Experience in Data Migration from various databases like Teradata to Big Query.
· Experience in Data Migration from Cloudera to Google Cloud Platform dataproc.
· Should have done at least one BQ data migration project
· Should have data modelling experience in Big Query.
· Should be able to connect Data and domain knowledge together
· Should be able to implement Big Query best practices.
· Drive business innovations through systems on GCP Cloud
· Facilitating, guiding, and influencing the clients and teams towards the right information technology architecture and becoming interface between Business leadership, Tech leadership and the delivery teams
· Responsible for designing the solution architecture on GCP, Specify solutions and articulate value to customers.
· To work with delivery teams, stakeholders, and client SPOCs to deliver contracted projects, oversee support tracks, providing visibility of the delivery pipeline and reducing the risk of destabilizing.
