Sr. COBOL Developer

- Experience in building and enhancing the application using COBOL programming language
- Strong knowledge in BATCH JCL, Unix, Scripting, SQL Database, Control M
Details of the role:
· Hands-on Senior Developers (8 to 10 years) are needed for developing Virtual Credit Card (VCC) functionality for a large healthcare payer
· Hands-on experience in developing application using below defined technology stack
· Should he able to integrate well with Agile multi-vendor environment, and experience in working in global environment
· Responsible in performing unit testing, and support other testing phases (UAT, PROD, integration, performance, etc) till PROD deployment
· Ability to demonstrate high code quality status
Key responsibilities:
· Be a part of scrum team, and participate in all scrum ceremonies
· Provide inputs during grooming of user stories
· Deploy integration program from scratch and perform Unit test once development is done
· Conducts self-reviews of developed code
· Debug and troubleshoot source code
· Provide correct status to the delivery manager / scrum master / client stakeholder on their tasks
· Should be able to integrate well with Agile multi-vendor environment, and experience in working in global environment
· Responsible in performing unit testing, and support other testing phases (UAT, PROD, integration, performance, etc) till PROD deployment
· Ability to demonstrate high code quality status
