Note: "We need a candidate having Strong knowledge in CICS and MQs. The candidate should have Good exposure to DB2, JCL,VSAM. He/she must have good programming and logical skills using COBOL. Good to have Production Support experience.
Job Description:
· Over 8+ years of experience in Mainframe Application development, Good Knowledge and experience with: z/OS, TSO/ISPF, Cobol, CICS, JCL in mainframe environment
· Experience in TSO/ISPF, File Aid / File Manager, Expeditor/IBM Debugger and other MVS Utilities
· Experience in building and standing up the CICS region and work with support team to fix any application or systemic issues
· Experience in LPAR management, mainframe storage and tape subsystem is a plus
· Perform z/OS debugging, SVC dumps and benchmark the CICS region capacity
· Write COBOL code to build and enhance applications/services and promote code-reviews, code scanning, and other standard development practices to deliver high-quality artifacts to production.
· Define, design, and develop procedures and solutions at a service level to meet the business requirements/enhancements
· Familiar with secure coding standard and vulnerability management
· Drive prioritization decisions and trade-offs in working with product partners
· Identify opportunities and build roadmaps to enhance primary service/function and isolate services
· Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery and development actively evangelizing the need to automate and simplify where needed.
· Drive seamless integration across all connected services to meet end-user expectations
· Performance tuning, regularly review, evaluate SMF and RMF data
· Experience in Disaster Recovery Exercise
