Role: Java Developer
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
· 8-10 years of core development experience with large scale distributed systems including client/server and Internet Technologies.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of Open source technologies
· High skills in Java 11 or above, Strong in Core Java, Spring Framwork, Event-based architectures, Streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
· High skills in best coding practices (like DRY, KISS, YAGNI, etc.) and in reaching high coverage on unit tests, integration test and component test for the code produced
· Experience on Code Quality tools like SonarQube, PMD, Checkstyle, Cobertura. Experience in writing unit test cases with JUnit, Mockito with target of 100% code coverage
· Experience in preparing high level and low level designs.
· Experience leading a team of 7-8 people
