WTX Solution Architect
Work location: MIDDLETOWN, PA
12+ Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The IBM Websphere Transformation eXtender(WTX) Integration Architect provides technical oversight for integration of SAP ERP solution into existing/retained business systems. The role ensures that the ERP system operates seamlessly with these systems in delivery of in scope end to end business processes supporting our customers ERP. This role includes review and analysis of existing WTX interfaces to Legacy Systems.
Role:
• Define Integration Strategy and design principles for ERP Integration landscape.
• Running workshops to facilitate the prioritization of the interfaces, integration pattern alignment, interface complexity assessment.
• Perform interface analysis and present integration strategy to the client.
• Responsible for defining integration implementation plan and estimation.
• Define integration architecture supporting the interfaces with ERP.
• Responsible for technical delivery, overall quality.
• During Design and Build,
o Perform the interface design and delivery of the above.
o Work closely with Business Analysts/Functional Consultants to translate complex business specs into technical specs
o Analysis of existing WTX integrations to Legacy system interfaces for assigned work streams, providing Architectural Input on pattern implementation and interface design input for 3rd Party Middleware (SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration).
• Review and approval of technical integration solutions and associated documentation
Skills and Experience Required:
• 12+ years relevant experience in Technical Integration/Development leadership role
• Demonstrate extensive experience operating as a WTX Senior Integration architect, providing integration strategy, architecture, estimating work effort and delivering an implementation plan.
• Provide evidence of at least 3 full life cycle implementations in IBM WTX with atleast one or more implementations with SAP ERP/SAP S/4 HANA.
• Extensive Integration architecture, interface design and implementation experience in IBM WTX
• Extensive knowledge of different Interface pattern implementation(design and developments) around various processes/functionalities with knowledge in the area of Sales & Distribution/Supply Chain Management/Procurement/Services, Warranty and Finance
• Excellent programming skill and well versed with WTX Integration coding standard/methods
• Must have extensive experience of working in various SAP specific integration technologies (SAP webservice, BAPI/RFC/IDOC/ Web Services/ IDOC enhancements)
• Ability to conduct workshops
• Ability to work closely with Business Analysts/functional consultants to translate complex business specs into technical specs
• Ability to lead a design/development team, provide guidance to team member for review and analysis of existing WTX interfaces and provide design and implementation support for to-be integration architecture.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
