• Testing case development & execution
• Ability to support Technical Support Team in trouble shooting production issues • Solid client relationship skills Skill Requirements:
• Pure Cisco Engineering (not architecture) • Knowledge and hands on experience with Cisco FMC ( Fire Power Management Center) and FTD ( Fire Power Threat Defense) is the highest priority, followed by experience with Cisco's WSA (Web Security Appliance), WPA and solid route/switch skills.
• Cisco Firewall.
• Local Resource Required. (Warren, Michigan) Teamwork Skills:
• Balanced, assertive not pushy, self-starter, process follower.
• The resource will work with both Cisco and customer (General Motors) personnel, to mostly build/create, operate, and maintain the lab.
• Lab does not yet exist, but it will probably reside in the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI.
• The design of the lab and the device configuration files will be led by Cisco Team.
• Resource will be expected to support a 40 hours, work week (including after normal business hours to support change windows nights/weekends/early morning), mostly on-site could be hybrid.
• Engage with customers and other Cisco partners on successful planning and execution of validation engagements.
• Support next generation R&S, Data Center for Enterprise, and Service Provider customers to accelerate implementation of new platforms/solutions.
• Validate new design solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Drive requirements discussions, analyze test requirements, build test lab configurations, author and implement test plans, and document results.
• Identify key issues and gaps and work with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them.
• Develop/integrate new technologies into lab environments.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects from Delivery and Sales teams regarding future initiatives and securing customer business.
• Innovate to gain efficiency and accelerate validation efforts.
• Identify and facilitate new business growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure successful project delivery
