Job Responsibilities
- Design and development of applications to address business needs of customers
- Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership
- Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure quality products
- Oversee and mentor team of developers
- Troubleshoot technical problems quickly and efficiently
- Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions
- Analyse existing MS SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Review code, design and other submissions to customer
- Interact with customer to present technical solutions and clarify technical aspects of project
- Build customer relation through good interactions and responsiveness.
- In-depth knowledge in Software and IT/hardware setup including network configuration
Required skillset:
- In depth knowledge of MS SQL, Management Studio for SQL, Expertise in developing stored procedures, Knowledge of database performance tuning
- Python for integration testing
- Experience with Angular (Typescript) or programming skills in C#
- Hands on experience in design and development of full stack applications using modern frameworks and design patterns
- Knowledge and understanding of Database Design and Programming.
- Sound Knowledge of UML.
- Experience with Software development life cycles
- Travel is approximately ~10-20%
Good to have:
- Nodejs, Type ORM, VueJS
- Knowledge of Apache Web server / Tomcat
- Protocols - Sockets, Web service (REST, SOAP), Flat file (FTP)
- Knowledge of warehouse management is advantage
Tools:
- Jira, Confluence, GiT
- Visio, UML, Wireshark, Postman, TSQLT
- Message Distributer (Internal Pub/Sub messaging tool)
Soft skills:
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work independently and be proactive.
- Ability to learn new technologies as part of the job
- Ability to analyse problems and come up with proposals for a solution.
