Skills for informatica administrator include:
• Informatica software security model and adaptability
• AD authentication models and LDAP integration to Informatica PowerCenter v10.x
• Data quality paradigms and data governance concepts
• DevOps methodologies and best practices
• Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange 9.x
• Current cloud & software technologies and uses
• Data Integration with Hadoop and Informatica
• Higher administration on Linux/Unix and Windows server platforms
• Linux/Unix
• AD authentication models and LDAP integration to Informatica MDM v10.x and PowerCenter v10.x
Desired experience for informatica administrator includes:
• Evaluate project designs to determine adequacy or feasibility
• Develop diagrams or flow charts of system operation
• Good analytical skills to troubleshoot the issues with system performance, connectivity to various data sources, space and system logging
• Experience in SOX requirements, Audit reports and BCPs that are mandatory for running the platform
• 5 years’ experience in database management in UNIX based DB2 and/or Oracle databases and warehouses
