Job title            :           Level 3 Production Support Analyst

Location           :           New York , NY (Onsite Opportunity)

Duration           :           12 Months

 

Job purpose:

Level 3 Production Support for Payments and Swift applications, responsible for projects involving maintenance and enhancement activities.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·         Provide L3 support of core payment processing infrastructure for leading investment bank

·         Exposure to compliance programs like OFAC and AML is preferred

·         Review users requests and requirements, define feasibility and qualification

·         Write functional specifications based on users requirements and applications design 

·         Data analysis

·         Exposure to UNIX is preferred.

·         Define testing strategy , tests plan  and execute  functional tests

·         Propose logical solutions and transform them into clear business and technical requirements

·         Utilize query tools to confirm data quality and investigate questions

·         Track, resolve and escalate issues for own projects while keeping relevant stakeholders informed

·         Support production environment and address incidents logged under “Production Support”

·         Provide permanent solution for all the problems logged under “Production Support”

·         Perform root cause analysis for P1/P2/P3 and P4 incidents and take action based on business needs

·         Follow the required policies and procedures of incident, problem and change management

·         Raise/escalate any service related issues and risks to Track lead and/or BCI lead

·         High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills

·         Able to work under minimal supervision

 

Qualifications:

Graduate or post graduate in Engineering or Technology with Computers or IT stream OR Graduate or post graduate in any stream with course in Computers or IT stream

 

Experience:

5 to 10 Years of total experience with 4+ plus years of relevant experience in Payments : Prduction support and projects

·         Good exposure in Payment systems including Swift, US clearing systems (FEDwire and CHIPS ).

·         Knowledge and experience in Payment back office system; ideally Montran GPS (Global payment systems)

·         Experience in Financial security  : Sanction filtering and AML

·         He should be well versed with technologies like – SQL server, Oracle, Windows batch scripting, Linux .

·         Exposure to audits on the domain would be a real plus

 

Required Skills

·         He should be well versed with technologies like – SQL server, Windows batch scripting, T-SQL

·         Experience and good understanding of MQ series

·         Excellent verbal and written communication

·         Attention to details

 

Preferred/Desired Skills

·         Working experience in applications related to Compliance in banking environment.

·         Knowledge of Control-M or other scheduling application.

 

Primary Duties

·         Production support: platform and users support

·         Coordination with various stakeholder: application and infrastructure teams, end users, client   , Software vendors ..

·         Client facing on domain covered

·         Maintain application and operational documentation

·         Data analysis

·         Requirement Gathering

·         Solution Design

·         Code Development

·         Unit and Integration Testing

·         User testing coordination

·         Meet defined SLAs and KPIs related to application development and support

·         Improvements and optimizations to stabilize the plant

·         Deliveries quality: application , documentation , testing .

·         Positive client feedback

·         Answer accurately to audit questions and address audit remediations

·         Resource is required to work from New York , NY

·         Resource should be open to extended hours on need basis

·         Resource should be ready to exceptionally work on weekend to support BCP tests, specific production activities

·         Resource should be keen to learn newer things related to technology and domain

·         Resource should be very rigorous with the delivery quality

·         Resource should be energetic and passionate to drive results for business needs and personal growth in the area of technology and/domain knowledge

·         Support of very Sensitive applications
