Job Description:
FPGA DSP Engineer
· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
· 8+ years of total experience inclusive of the following:
· Signal processing in FPGAs ( Various Manufacturers / Xilinx especially) and DSPs
· Embedded system design and tools
· Proficiency in IP development including RTL coding (Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL), design, debug and validation from simulation to hardware bring-up
· Experience with physical, data link layer implementations
· Experience optimizing FPGA designs for size, weight, and power
· Experience with hardware bring-up and firmware/IP integration and testing
· Hands-on experience with peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, JESD and USB
· Hands-on experience with RF test and measurement equipment
· Experience with: Python/Perl,
· Experience of working with Communication protocols and interfacing Embedded devices with Computer applications
