JOB DESCRIPTION
• Good to have knowledge on AWS cloud
• Good to have Splunk Admin certification.
• Should have experience of 6+ years as a Splunk Administrator.
• Experience in Splunk agent deployment and server infrastructure analysis, optimization, and capacity planning
• Should be able to recommend and execute improvements to the existing Splunk architecture and design with growth and scalability in mind to optimize performance, stability, reliability, and agility
• Should be able to perform configuration management and control of maintenance architectural/design/functional changes to Splunk platform
• Experience in Planning, review, test, and execute Splunk system patches and upgrades.
• Experience in Monitoring Splunk platform to enable proactive issue identification, response, and resolution
• Support Splunk on Linux/Windows-based platforms
• Perform monitoring and tuning of indexers & search heads
• Provide operations and maintenance including production and infrastructure support, root cause analysis, break/fix, troubleshooting, and health monitoring
• Work with existing and custom Splunk applications and add-ons to fulfil customer needs
• Provide operations and maintenance support for a distributed Splunk environment consisting of heavy forwarders, indexers, and search head servers, spanning security, performance, and operational roles
Editing and maintaining Splunk configuration files and apps
• Onboard data to Splunk via forwarder, scripted inputs, TCP/UDP, database and modular inputs from a variety of sources.
• Provider operational support for Splunk Universal Forwarder on Linux and Windows endpoints
• Manage, and support automation solutions for Splunk deployment and orchestration in on-premise and cloud environments
• Install Splunk on servers and configure it

ADMINISTRATOR - How Recent in Less than 3 Years
ADMINISTRATOR - Primary = 1
