Azure Terraform Devops Engineer 

Work location: New York, NY

Duration: Long term contract

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requires 5-8 years of experience in IT & 2-3 year of experience in Azure automation Qualification:

Education Level (Required): Bachelors degree or Equivalent Required technical Skills: (Azure Terraform/DevOps Engineer/Powershell)

Experience with Microsoft Azure, HashiCorp Terraform, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, ARM templates, PowerShell, IaaS, Paas, and SaaS Azure services, Virtual networks, NSGs, Storage accounts, blob store, GitHub, Jira, Scrum

Good experience in understanding Power Shell to automated azure

Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical design

Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause

Good experience in Azure SDK and PowerShell

Experience with Cloud Formation Templates, terraform along YAML & automation scripts to create infrastructure and deploy application code changes autonomously

Automation, policies, deployments, and troubleshooting for internal business units at an existing client

The Azure Terraform Automation Engineer will work in an a agile environment to support development, enhancements, and enablement for an existing Azure cloud platform

Creating, maintaining, and updating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git to deploy Azure policies

Assist application teams in onboarding their applications into the enterprise cloud environment

Azure troubleshooting, logs, Azure Monitor, basically where to look when deployments fail and/or are not working as defined

Must experience in PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting for automation
