Urgent Direct Client Requirement- Sr. Java Developer- Bentonville, Dallas, Sunnyvale.

We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer for our direct client located in Bentonville, AR. The duration is 12 months. The job description is as follows

The Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development. SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap. Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.

Areas of responsibility include:
- Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
- Drives technical vision and influences product roadmap and vision
- Implement large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects
- Leads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level design
- Supervise the work of cross-functional groups of engineers, including offshore associates
- Directs root cause analysis of critical business and production issues
- Documents testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvements
- Influence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactively
- Supports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being met
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- 2+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development
- 2+ years of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
- 2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model
Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline

Key Skills:
Java/J2EE - expert
Object Oriented Programming - algorithms, design patterns, etc. - expert
Springboot - expert
Microservices – as all of their REST APIs are hosted as microservices and not together
REST API development, Monitoring and debugging REST APIs and Scaling REST APIs
Cloud - Azure/GCP preferred but AWS also ok.

NoSQL
Kafka
Cloud
