Job Description:
· 8+ years of experience in Linux system administration
· Own customer / user problems and be preemptive when dealing with issues. Strictly adhere Set of processes and SLA while handling incident requests.
· Understanding the DR for different environment. Exposure on DR Drills.
· Good experience in red hat cluster management.
· Responsible for the maintenance of system configurations and process documentation, operating procedures and infrastructure support documentation.
· Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement, problem resolution & workflow improvements.
· Work on SLA waivers with Customer for the approvals.
· Must attend P1 calls, Major Incident and provide resolution.
· Attend CAB meetings with customer for change approvals.
· Guide/help junior on the technical issues.
· Experience in working on Production environment
· Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of boot issues
· Experience in troubleshooting the file system related issues.
· Good knowledge on Schedule and run Cron jobs, Sudo Configuration.
· Should have worked on Service Now, should know how to create request, work incident, problem management , and change request.
· Experience in User Management, Files system management, Disk Management, LVM , and Red hat Cluster.
· Very good experience in Patching red hat Linux Servers. red hat satellite experience required.
· ready to work in 24x7 environment.
· Should have working experience in large, and complex environment. preferred banking domain experience.
· Monitoring ticket queue and assign the tickets within SLA.
· Good Troubleshooting skill in RHEL required.
