Job Description
Cloud DevOps Engineer
List of Technologies:
• Automation: Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash
• Web Architectures: Azure App services
• Cloud Providers: Azure
• CI/CD: Bitbucket, Bamboo, Artifactory and Octopus deploy
• Database: MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, MS Sql and Redis
• Containerization/disposable environments: Azure Kubernetes (AKS), Serverless compute (functions /Web Apps)
• Monitoring and Logging Tools: Knowledge of ELK, Log Analytics and app insights.
• Operating Systems: CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server
• Network: Azure vNETs and basic network connectivity both internal and external connectivity
• Security: Basic security practices pertaining to Azure. Patch levels, Azure Infra cloud security configuration
Essential Responsibilities:
• Implement Infrastructure-As-Code approach to achieve a secure, stable, and reliable services.
• Automate build/deployment, software configuration, continuous integration/delivery, and release engineering related tasks.
• Serve as an expert in such all areas of cloud support to include network, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
• Take open CVE's discovered by product security team and resolve findings
• Script and write code to help automate cloud governance tasks
