JOB DISCRIPTION:
The Sr. Manager BI Analytics will sit at the heart of this data driven organization. In this role you will lead a team of data engineers, data modelers, and analysts responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytic solutions that empower Hanes Brands with insightful data and analytics.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a change agent and champion for business intelligence and analytics; drive a self service/forward looking approach to analytics that empowers individual stakeholders across the organization.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities that enhance decision making across all levels of the organization.
- Form collaborative partnerships across the organization to drive analytics best practices and reporting insights with stakeholders across the company.
- Build analytics roadmaps with a voice of the stakeholder mentality that is aligned with the priorities of the organization and drives meaningful measurable business outcomes.
- Attract, retain and develop a highly skilled team of results-minded data and analytics professionals, who can influence the organization, leading to new insights and improved decision making.
- Manage team of data engineers, data modelers, and analysts responsible for developing reporting/analytics, data pipelines, data integrations, and data model to deliver BI solutions.
- Interact extensively and regularly with enterprise architecture, data analytics platform architecture, application teams, and data science to advance the HBI enterprise data architecture as part of all relevant analytics projects.
- Aid in conceptual, logical, and physical database design to meet business requirements
- Ensure data and metadata are clearly defined and documented
- Support data governance from a data / information systems perspective
- Adheres to applications security procedures, change control guidelines and coding structures, Sarbanes-Oxley IT and business requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- BA or BS degree required.
- 7+ years of experience with 3-5 years of relevant analytics experience.
- Experience in implementing complex data management and BI capabilities such as big data, business intelligence, self-service analytics
- Advanced knowledge/experience in a lead role, either managing or advising large and strategic project teams required
- Extensive experience in relational database and data platform architecture
- Deep understanding of modern cloud architectures and associated concepts such as massive parallel processing and distributed computing.
- General understanding of cloud data engineering practices such as the construction of data pipelines, data quality, and data validation.
- Results oriented, high energy, inspirational and self-motivated leader
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills being capable of presenting complex technical designs in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Power BI.
