Job Description
Position Android DEVELOPER
Location: : Atlanta
Exp 6 to 8
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and develop Android applications across all android devices
• Collaborate closely with product, design and server engineers
• Define and document application design and enhancements
• Create, review and coordinate execution of unit tests and identify opportunities to improve testing processes
• Assist with design, coding, testing, implementation and documentation of solution
• Assist to investigate, analyze and resolve complex technical problems
• Analyze, define and document designs for data, workflow, logical processes and operating system environment and recommends technical solutions
PLEASE LIST 5 MANDATORY "MUST HAVE" SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. PLEASE INCLUDE SKILLS RELATED TO
TECHNICAL AS WELL AS DOMAIN AND NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AS APPLICABLE TO THE POSITION.
• Fluency with Kotlin and Java development
• Knowledge of cutting-edge Android technologies
• Hands on experience working with Android SDK, Android Studio, APIs, etc.
• Strong understanding of mobile fundamentals
• Strong communication skills
PLEASE LIST 5 "NICE TO HAVE" BUT NOT MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT
1. Web development
2. Automation testing
3. iOS development
2. REST APIs and Microservices, knowledge of JSON(Java Script Object Notation) handling
3. Frameworks like classic Spring and Spring Boot
4. Experience in DevOps processes, CI-CD(Continuous Development-Continuous Integration) pipeline development and orchestration
5. Experience with Cloud platforms like GCP(Google Cloud Platform) or AWS(Amazon Web Services)
6. Build tools like Apache Maven, Jenkins
7. Knowledge in Agile Methodologies and experience of working in agile projects
8. Knowledge of Kafka, Cassandra, any NoSQL database e.g. MongoDB, Orient DB, CouchDB etc.
9. Experience with GitHub or GitLab
10. Experience with tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Kibana etc.
11. Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Knowledgeable of formal software development methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
- Experience with application and system architecture
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in and be contributing member of a team
- Experience in integrating and maintaining automation tests with DevOps CI System
- Ability to collaborate with other developers and other team members
- Knowledge and working experience in SQL and database
