Role/Team Overview:
Credit Risk Platform (CRP) has an immediate requirement for Java/Python developer who also has hands on experience to Hadoop. This role is to support a fast paced, continuously evolving platform. In addition to supporting business needs candidate must be passionate about automating processes and simplifying the overall operating environment. Candidates will be a team player and able to communicate effectively both orally and written. You must be able to understand new technical offerings and learn new technologies in the context of the multitenant platform.
Responsibilities :
Develop, support Enterprise Credit Risk ETL platform
Develop unit / integration / regression / performance test scripts/ test suites for the framework
Follow Agile development process - work refinement, estimation, retrospectives, etc. rituals
Interface with users and other team members, understand requirements and engineer and analyze solution options
Communicate solution effectively to team / teams and play a mentor role for junior resources
Engage Architecture team as needed during development and support
Participate in POCs - evaluate tools and technologies as needed
Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
5+ years of Information technology experience in Application and/or Datawarehouse development.
3+ years of Big Data technologies experience, especially Apache Spark.
3+ years of development experience in Scala, Java, or Python (at least two).
2+ years of CI/CD toolset (Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, Jenkins, etc.) experience.
Experience with testing frameworks like Junit, ScalaTest, Pytest.
RDBMS Experience / advanced SQL programming
Data warehousing knowledge/ experience
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Desired Skills
Advanced programming/ framework development experience
OpenShift / Kubernetes / Containers/ MicroServices
