JOB DESCRIPTION
Oracle Fusion WebCenter 12c Portal Developer/Lead
Role description:
• Design of the Portal application using Oracle Web Center
• Build Portal Applications in Oracle Fusion Web Center Portal 12C
• Error handling and troubleshooting application throughout upgrade, redesign and build if needed.
• Assist business users with portal issues and assist to resolve the issues.
• Troubleshoot technical issues; work with Oracle Support to resolve Service Requests
• Develop portal solutions within the Service Oriented Architecture Methodology.
• Maintain and document customizations / extensions.
Required Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in software development using J2EE technologies which include Oracle FM, Oracle ADF, Oracle Fusion WebCenter & Spring.
• 3+ years' experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware stack including Oracle WebCenter 12 for building web applications which include ADF/Web Center Portal/ SOA Suite & JDeveloper.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Portlet and ADF portal Framework
• Experience writing RESTful webservices using Spring/JAXRS
• WebCenter ADF Framework and Remote portlet configurations with WebCenter Spaces/Portal
• Working knowledge of HTML, Ajax, jQuery, Java Script
• Good understanding of DBMS concepts and hands on SQL/PLSQL experience
• Experience in design and document the solution in detail
• Experience in coordinating with the end user and client on day-to-day basis and provide timely updates
• Needs to guide and lead the team from technical and functional perspective
• Strong problem solving and Troubleshooting skills to support Portal Applications
• Co-ordination with 3rd party vendors for fixes, releases, etc.
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage stressful situations.
• Strong problems solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
Nice to have skills:
• Understands Service Oriented Architecture.
• Willingness to work toward and achieve management directed goals and objectives.
• Possesses a customer-focused and team-oriented attitude.
