Position 1:
DevOps Manager

Austin, TX

Candidates must relocate to Austin, TX 

Candidate can work from home in the same client location (Austin, TX).

 

Required experience:

• 10+ years of experience leading and managing a team of System engineers on multiple projects

• Demonstrated ability to, plan, prioritize the work of others, drive, and contribute to multi-dimensional projects across multiple teams • Strong expertise with Kubernetes and Docker in a cloud environment

 

• Solid understanding of systems administration concepts

• Collaborate with Software Engineering teams and provide guidance on the deployment architectures in cloud for scalability, reliability and maintainability.

• Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Production teams on a daily basis and ensure that all test and production environment are fully functional

• Drive continuous improvement of operational pipeline and overall software release process.

• Provide Advise and documentation on best practices throughout the full software development lifecycle.

• Solid understanding and hands on experience on AWS

• Experience in incident response and root cause analysis service disruptions

 

• Experience in working with globally distributed team of system engineers

Lead System engineers who are responsible for managing the infrastructure, deployment, vulnerability management, CI/CD of 50+ applications on AWS and VMs.

Work closely with the application teams in resolving the vulnerabilities, building the Continuous deployment pipeline and supporting the infrastructure



Position 2:


Role: Sr DevOps Engineer with GCP (MUST Have)// Must have 12+years of experience 

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: Contract

Job Description

·        Sr DevOps Engineer is accountable for efficient growth and development operations that can equilibrate services reliability and delivery speed.

·        Experience Level must be 12 + years

·        Prior experience working with: container technology, docker files, docker images, GitHub, CI/CD concepts.

·        Experience in programming concepts such as Python Programming, Test Driven Development, release management, etc.

·        Strong soft skills of communication , ability to share/teach others, work collaboratively with others etc.

·        Knowledge in Realtime video storage setup, parallel camera feeds/images processing and assets configuration .

·        GCP DevOps Pipeline, Terraform experience and Model setup on GCP would be preferred, Deploy and monitor services, and manage and learn from incidents

·        CI/CD pipeline triggers with Cloud Source Repositories, external SCM, and Pub/Sub

·        Implement CI/CD pipelines, CI /CD with Cloud Build, Open source tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab, Concourse)

·        Auditing and tracing of deployments (e.g., CSR, Artifact Registry, Cloud Build, Cloud Audit Logs)

·        Familiar with Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, Load Balancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.


Position 3:


Title: Site Reliability Engineer with Kubernetes MUST

Location: SFO, CA (THESE ARE 100% REMOTE POSITIONS. NO NEED TO BE ONSITE)

Duration: Long Term

A Day in the Life:

Responsible for Infrastructure maintenance, availability, performance & cost reduction.

Dive deep to resolve problems at their root and troubleshoot services related to the big data stack in our AWS/Linux infrastructure.

Develop software tools to give insights into costs & utilization patterns.

Enhance and maintain our monitoring infrastructure.

Develop automation tools for managing our cloud infrastructure.

Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Partake in an on-call rotation alongside the engineers who build our production  backends

 

 

What You Need:

You should have 5+ years of experience with a start-up mentality in managing & troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, Cloud Formation & Terraform.

Excellent Linux and troubleshooting skills

You have a passion for solving problems using open source software

You are an expert in Python/Bash and you are proficient in Linux.

Familiarity with big data stack, HDFS, HBase, YARN clusters, Elasticsearch

Strong experience working in AWS environment and other server virtualization technologies

Experience working with monitoring stack like sensu

Bachelor's degree in computer science

Knowledge of SQL, AWS Redshift & AWS EMR
