Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 6+ Months
Experience: Minimum 8+ years
Job Summary:
- Experience in developing client-server application and must have strong technical skill in PowerBuilder and Sybase (preferred) or Oracle
- Experience in PowerBuilder foundation classes, OOPS concepts, various Data Window design for Forms and Reports development
- Experience in writing PL/SQL scripts to manipulate data, Database stored procedures and triggers
- Responsible for design, technical specification, coding and unit testing of each requirement
- Excellent debugging, decision making and problem-solving skill
- Excellent communication skill
- Develop new strategies to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
- Responsible for onsite offshore coordination between Business team and Development team
- Responsible to provide support for system testing/UAT and Production
- Proficient with development in Agile methodology (Rally preferred)
- Knowledge in source controller Rational Clear Case and GitHub
Role: Big Data Engineer with Java
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote till Covid)
Duration: 12 Months
Mandatory Skills: Java, Kafka, OpenShift, Hive, Spark, Docker, NoSQL, Devops
Minimum Qualifications
# 5 years of work experience in software design and implementation using Java.
# Experience in distributed data processing and analyzing using Elasticsearch, Spark.
# Experience in designing, impl ementing and operating any of the NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase, Redis.
# Experience in cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes. OpenShift is a plus.
# Clear understanding of various design patterns, threading and memory models support ed by the language VM.
# Have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Create and deliver effective presentations to Senior Leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
# Experience in distributed messaging system such as Kafka
# Experience inbu ilding Micro services and Service Mesh is a plus
# Proven Experience with Go Lang
# Experience in Continuous integration, Continuous delivery and DevOps Systems.
# Experience in architecting large scale distributed data systems considering scalabilit y, reliability, security, performance, and flexibility.
# Able to mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers
