One of our esteemed clients is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Initially Remote (Portland, OR) – Long Term
The following skills and experience are also relevant to our overall environment, and nice to have:
Requirements:
- Have graduate or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Have excellent positive attitude and come with win-as-a-team mindset
- Come with excellent communication skills across engineering, product, business and operations teams
- Have 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- Have full stack engineering experience to build robust RESTful applications using ReactJs front-end and Java 11 or higher using Springboot for the back end
- Have Material UI experience and using UI testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Jest and/or Cypress
- Have 2+ years of experience building and deploying applications in AWS cloud.
- Have experience using AWS services like API gateways, lambdas, SQS, SNS, Aurora, dockerized applications on ECS
- Provide DevOps support to all services built by your team by creating CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building AWS infrastructure using Terraform is a bonus
- Create applications using test-driven development and agile methodologies
- Contribute to overall architecture, frameworks and patterns for processing and storing large data volumes
- Build utilities, user defined functions, and frameworks to better enable data flow patterns
- Participate in the team to refine business requirements and features into technical requirements.
