Job Role: - Jupyter Developer
Location: - NYC/NJ

JD:-
Analyze Business Requirements· Analyze business requirements from diverse business community around both Jupyter packages and kernels required and requested. Ensure packages cause no issues.
· Work with the EDO Product team around customized deployments and Notebook templates.
· Capture metrics forecasting future scalability requirements based on multiple personas from programmers, SQL based analysts, and ML citizens and scientists.
· Work with third party vendor(s) on future platform design.
· Ensure Business communities take advantage of Spark compute for larger datasets
· Capture of requirements by Business and the ability to map to customized internal Notebook platform.
· Capture scalability and performance metrics and ensure Jupyter infrastructure platform can meet capacity and concurrency.
· Test and validate on-going package and kernel deployments for eventual Production releases.
· Support existing JupyterHub AWS infrastructure and EMR clusters as level 3 Application Engineering.
· Further enhance and develop EDO Jupyter EDO Notebook templates. Requires proficiency in Python programming.
· Troubleshoot level 3 Production issues such as authentication, containerization, resources limitations.
· Work with Operations on future QA and Prod Jupyter implementations.
· Create technical documents (design doc, run books, FAQ's) that details the solutions design, implementation and its operations.
· Future deployments to Kubernetes and specifically AWS EKS platform
· Understanding of AWS IAM profile, roles and policies for ongoing cross cloud asset connectivity to centralized JupyterHub.
· Thorough understanding of Python 3.x/2.x and ability to deliver program level recommendations.
· Familiar with NumPy, Pandas and offer best practices or assistance to community around performance related issues.
· Solid experience in working with various Python Integrated Development Environments such PyCharm, Spyder, Jupyter Notebook, Anaconda.
· All packages or additional kernels must be well vetted prior to full community releases
· Testing and support of existing Bitbucket Notebook user repositories.
· Review and assess long running or CPU intensive Notebook processes.
· Work with various EDO teams such as ML Engineering, Technology, and Architecture on future state platform.
