Job Description:
- Should have knowledge about Cisco UCS servers with 5+ years of experience, Ex – CISCO experience is must required.
- Hands on experience in Cisco ACI, APIC and AVS to AVE migration
- Solid understanding of Cisco products for compute and networking at expert level
- Should able to provide expert guidance to L2 in case required .Candidate should able to address
- all Operational issue , should be a self a starter and take ownership of the issue and provide updates to Cisco Managers in case required
- Strong Linux background (L3)
- Should have good knowledge of Open stack (not at SME level)
- Should have good hands on of VMware at SME level
- Strong Operations experience.
- Candidate should have experience on Migration from VMware to other Hypervisor…should have exposure to transition things to cloud from various other sources.
- Seasoned professional with core exposure on RHEL and Ubuntu, operating system.
- Working exposure on Linux native cluster (OR) VCS cluster platform.
- Sound troubleshooting knowledge for multipathing issues, file system related issues, and storage related scenarios.
- Ability to identify/handle chronic issue and to provide workaround or resolution accordingly.
- To get the RCA done and to identify/highlight the risks accordingly.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Ability to identify any flow in process and to provide process fine-tuning.
- Experience in deployment, patching, and kernel upgrade of Unix/Linux operating system.
- Ability to lead the team and to manage the given shift, ability to handle customer escalations, should own the ongoing priorities and drive/direct team accordingly.
- Required excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document project specific technical requirements and configurations
- Good python scripting skills – 3+ years in Python development
