Role (Designation) IBM Secure Identity Manager(ISIM) SME

Desired Experience Range Overall IT - 8+ Yrs.

 

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Technical- Primary Skills:

Strong understanding of IBM Security Identity Manager or IBM Identity Manager · 4+ years of experience of installing, configuring and upgrading/migrating IBM Security IAM solution components. · Follow ITIL process for Incident Management, Problem Management · Able to own and handle P1/P2 calls, resolve independently · Works on ISIM adapters, including 6.x Active Directory Adapter, 6.x Mainframe Adapter · Configures, troubleshoots and conducts migration planning and deployments for ISIM 6.0 · Conducts high-level analysis of requirements documentation with respect to correctness, completeness, and consistency · Troubleshoots, investigates operational problems and provides resolution/remediation. · Performs maintenance activities e.g. patching, performance tuning and backups

Technical- Secondary Skills:

Works on IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) adapters and assembly line · Integrates ISIM and ISAM software components, provisioning targets, user workflows and protected web applications · Works on 6.x IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) for Web Adapter and 6.x ISAM Enterprise Single Sign-On (ESSO)

Technical – Nice to have:

Experience using Java, JavaScript, XML, DSML. · ISAM(IBM Secure Access Manager) handson experience · Installs, configures and customizes ISIM and TDI, as well as upgrades TDI adapters and assembly line

Behavioral:

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and stake holder expectation management skills · Excellent communication (written + oral) · Strong articulation and presentation skills · Strong problem-solving skills · Self-driven and ability to perform in demanding environment · Strong thought leadership, envisioning and solution skills, with an ability to draw big picture at the same time able to detail on lower level functional issues. · Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload Strong leadership skills with ability to lead the technical delivery of the project. Ability to work to deadlines

 

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role:

1 Should be able to architect IAM solution for large engagements.

2 Should be able to run interactions/meetings with enterprise, application, and infrastructure architects independently.

3 Should have good understanding on server and network architecture and technical know-how.

4 Should be willing to learn other leading IAM products.

4 Raise CSP visibility through analyst connects and IAM solution development in collaboration with the competency center leads

5 Contribute to IAM COE development – Solution artifacts, competency development
