Responsibilities:
Solve complex, ambiguous issues throughout the data lifecycle, identify and implement effective programmatic solutions
Refactor and migrate complex, messy pipelines across data ecosystems
Ongoing maintenance of Linux server environments to ensure stability and optimal performance
Maintain, develop, and troubleshoot programmatic/automated workflows via Airflow
Develop a comprehensive inventory of data pipelines - ensuring optimal schema design, data consistency, and driving proper data governance
Understand the business nuances of the data and ensure data schemas are in alignment
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field including data science, computer science, math, engineering, statistics, or other related fields.
3+ years of strong hands-on programming experience with Python
5+ years of SQL and working with enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Hive, Snowflake)
Flexible and adaptable, willing to quickly learn and understand new technologies
Collaborative and a strong team player
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experienced with good code management practices
Expertise in data warehousing principles, schema design, data governance, data pipeline automation
3+ years of shell scripting and the Linux/Unix command line
Comfort with Git
Experience with R, Airflow, React/JavaScript – Good to have
