Responsibilities:
• Solve complex, ambiguous issues throughout the data lifecycle, identify and implement effective programmatic solutions
• Refactor and migrate complex, messy pipelines across data ecosystems
• Ongoing maintenance of Linux server environments to ensure stability and optimal performance
• Maintain, develop, and troubleshoot programmatic/automated workflows via Airflow
• Develop a comprehensive inventory of data pipelines - ensuring optimal schema design, data consistency, and driving proper data governance
• Understand the business nuances of the data and ensure data schemas are in alignment
Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field including data science, computer science, math, engineering, statistics, or other related fields.
• 3+ years of strong hands-on programming experience with Python
• 5+ years of SQL and working with enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Hive, Snowflake)
• Flexible and adaptable, willing to quickly learn and understand new technologies
• Collaborative and a strong team player
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experienced with good code management practices
• Expertise in data warehousing principles, schema design, data governance, data pipeline automation
• 3+ years of shell scripting and the Linux/Unix command line
• Comfort with Git
• Experience with R, Airflow, React/JavaScript – Good to have
