Java Developer w/ Networking
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
• Strong Java application developer
• Network programming background with deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers, Firewalls)
• Deep understanding and working background with streaming protocols such as gRPC, WebRTC, HLS, RTMP
• Experience with AWS Java SDK
• Experience with Multi-threaded and Asynchronous Processing
• Experience with Git-based code repository
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Amazon Transcribe (Transcribe Streaming)
• Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)
• Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK)
• Amazon DynamoDB
ROLE SCOPE:
• Code, review application code, perform root cause analysis, and provide recommendations to resolve performance issues with communicating and processing responses from Amazon
Transcribe
• Provide networking recommendations to optimize performance (relating to gRPC, Network Load Balancers)
• Provide recommendations to improve system performance during parallel processing of responses from Amazon Transcribe
• Assist Customer with finalizing the design to follow AWS general best practices with the focus to monitor the observability of Customer’s workload Amazon EKS cluster.
