Job Description:
- Participates in the analysis, design, development/configuration, documentation, testing, performance studies, and implementation of enterprise applications.
- Includes design and development of interfaces to third party systems and reporting warehouse as required by the end to end process.
- Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support.
Skill Set:
- Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
- Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners.
Job requirement:
- Capable of designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are high-volume and low-latency
- Experience with distributed computing tools/frameworks such as HDFS, SPARK and understanding of batch/analytics pipelines on Cloud (Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms)
- Familiar with containers and container orchestration using Docker or Kubernetes
- CI/CD including tools such as Gradle, CodeFresh, Jenkins, etc.
Comments from HM:
- Solid experience with Java and Spring framework
- Strong experience in RESTful API design and development
- Experience in NoSQL technologies (Hbase, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience in one or more: Python, Spark cluster programming using java/python/scala
