MuleSoft Developer
Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : 100% REMOTE 6+ Months Contract
Responsibilities:
- 2+ years of experience in MuleSoft API development
- 4+ years of integration development experience
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for MuleSoft integrations
- Understand Business Requirements, perform impact analysis and assess technical challenges/feasibility in achieving required business outcome.
- Evaluate requirements and provide estimation of efforts.
- Serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
- Work closely with Integration Architect to design API layers, data model and specifications.
- Develop APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave and Anypoint MQ
- Drive continuous integration and delivery of APIs using DevOps tools Bamboo, Bitbucket and Nexus
- Test and improve performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue and fix/work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed.
- Mentor other team members on MuleSoft development technologies, tools and processes
Required Skills:
· Solid understanding of API Design using RAML or Swagger
· Experience with the 3-layered approach to API-led connectivity with Experience, Process, and System APIs
· Experience with MuleSoft DataWeave to create reusable transformations using functions, variables, and operators
· Experience in API administration Configuring APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics using MuleSoft API manager
· Experience in OATH2.0 and secure environment architecture and operations
· Expertise in writing MUnit tests
· Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) using GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo or similar frameworks
· Experience in design and development of enterprise services using RAML specification, REST and SOAP based APIs.
· Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases
· Strong understanding of Agile development practices
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in MuleSoft API development
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with Salesforce and other cloud platform integrations
- Experience with Java and Maven
