Job Title: Java Developer-Team Lead

Job Description:
  •  Working with management has the ability to lead and assist multiple team members across disciplines including  Development, QA and Support.
  •  Possesses Strong technical ability and develops a deep understanding of the application.
  •  Contributes to the development of complex applications and software providing comprehensive enterprise business solutions.
  •  Participating in Agile methodologies to Analyze, design and develop software applications that process intricate healthcare insurance transactions.
  •  Writes effective Unit testing to verify new and updated code
  •  Works closely with all disciplines of the Agile Release Train (Product Managers, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Quality Assurance and Customer Support)
  •  Assess, enhances, maintains and supports software solutions to business problems.
  •  Possesses strong logic, computer language syntax and sequencing skills.

Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
  • 10-12 years of Java development with a focus on high volume application development

Strong knowledge of:

  • Java
  • JPA
  • AngularSoapUI
  • Maven
  • RDBMS  / SQL DB constructs
  • End to End SDLC

Very proficient in service and Web development including:

  • ReST
  • JSON

Working knowledge / general understanding of:

  • TomEE
  • ActiveMQ / Kafka / AMQP
  • Cloud computing - AWS and Azure   
  • Jenkins
  • IzPack
  • Groovy
    • Liquabase
