Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Job description:
This position will support the coordination and development of various analytical projects and reporting as they relate to Clients's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and Community Impact (CI) strategies and initiatives across our governance, workforce, procurement, programming, and community investment focus areas, and partner with analysts in other areas where the Company is driving DE&I and CI initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of DE&I and Community impact reporting in Tableau platform
- Perform technical and analytical work for the company's DE&I and CI programs involving data retrieval, data validation, and trend analysis for corporate headquarters and in support of division/region needs and requests
- Generate actionable insights by joining large data sets from various data sources and applying appropriate analytical techniques
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations
- Support ad hoc reporting in relation to the company's DE&I and CI program initiatives
Specifications:
- Strong experience in developing robust, scalable, automated reports and dashboards using Tableau
- Highly Proficient in working with large relational databases such as SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, etc. (SQL Server preferred)
- Ability to work with a large amount of quantitative data - an ability to self-service data and identify proper levels of aggregation for the task
- Highly proficient in SQL
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, solver, conditional formatting, charting, etc.)
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in simple terms
- Effective communication skills; ability to “tell the story”
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently on high complexity projects with minimal supervision, and also in a highly collaborative work environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with demonstrated project management skills
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related discipline
- Generally requires 5-7 years related experience
