Experience Required
  • Requires excellent planning, conceptual, consulting and communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to interact with senior business area and IT management and staff solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong experience in logical and physical data modeling in OLTP and OLAP environments.
  • Able to recognize and identify patterns in data relationships from disparate systems
  • Strong database fundamentals and data modeling knowledge
  • Strong experience performing data modeling studies and develops detailed data models.
  • Strong experience in transforming logical models to physical models.
  • Good understanding of understanding of ODS, data warehouse, data mart, and data cube, and database technologies.
  • Strong SQL (PL/SQL preferred, T-SQL acceptable) background.
  • Previous experience in gathering requirements for reporting solutions and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good background working with quantitative data

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Work with IT management to establish and maintain consistent data element definitions across computing environments
  • Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with data modeling and data integration standards
  • Understand flows between disparate source / target systems, and participate in the development and maintenance of data architecture.
  • Perform a variety of data analysis and modeling tasks with limited supervision.
  • Develop and present training materials as needed to help evangelize the DSISS message.
  • Provide functional advice, training, and advanced data related support to project teams both during the planning and in-flight stages of their projects
