Title: Front-end Developer
Location: Florham Park, NJ/New York – REMOTE to begin
Type: Contract/ Contract to hire
- 8+ years of experience in Application Development with advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- 6+ years developing in OO programming languages like Java/J2EE
- 4+ years developing in frameworks such as Angular (ver 6.0 or above)
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end programming languages - HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
- Experience developing interactive web applications, following accessibility guidelines (508C, WCAG 2.2)
- Knowledge of MVC, MVVM, MVP, and other design patterns and core frameworks
- Experience with integrating with Restful APIs and third-party libraries
- Experience in building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. as part of the CI/CD process
- Strong desire to build unit tests from the start with TDD development.
- Knowledge of tools like Git, Adobe Analytics, Postman/SOAPUI/Insomnia, Rally, Junit, SwaggerHub
- Be an advocate of security best practices, support the importance of security within engineering, partnering with Digital and Enterprise security teams and digital product owners to ensure compliance
- Ability to understand problems, break them down into hypotheses, and propose solutions in a clear manner
- Ability to crisply document design and implementation details
- Experience in Agile/SAFe methodologies required
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a blend of innovation and speed of execution
- Willing to work as a team and has the right attitude to work as a part of a large organization
