POSITION - 1

Role: Lead Java Developer – AWS, Spring boot, Microservices(MUST)
Location: Portland, OR – Remote

Duration: Long Term

 

Candidates should have the following:

  • Need at least 10-12+ yrs of total IT with 8+ yrs in below skills….
  • Professional experience working as a software engineer, system administrator, or other related position.
  • 10-12+ years of experience developing services in Java (Spring Boot experience a must)
  • Strong experience with Microservices Architecture
  • Very strong knowledge of AWS, the AWS Java SDK and AWS CloudFormation (AWS Certification a plus)
  • Experience with Git source code management and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with business partners and other engineers.

Engineer responsibilities include the following:

  • Write reusable, tested, and efficient software code and scripts.
  • Write automated tests to validate changes, and manually test those changes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and code defects.
  • Use a variety of tools to manage source code, builds, and deployments.
  • Operate supported systems in test and production environments.
  • Provide technical support for tools and systems owned by the team.
  • Be an active participant in team meetings and processes, like design and code reviews.
  • Suggest and implement ways to improve tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and teams to design solutions and resolve issues.
  • Work with product owners to understand and raise questions about business requirements.

 

POSITION - 2

Role: Java Lead Engineer with eCommerce

Location: Portland, OR(Remote)

Duration: 12 Months

 

Must & Mandatory:

10-12+ years relevant work experience designing and developing applications

Experience with AWS Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Spring boot, Microservices is a must.

Experience in Retail/eCommerce platforms OR Worked with any Retail/E-Commerce Clients.

 

Required Skills:

  • 10-12+ years of professional experience in application engineering.
  • 10+ years hands-on experience in Java.
  • Experienced in building RESTful micro services.
  • Must have experience in AWS based micro services and no-SQL DB, AWS services like AWS,EC2, AWS Lambda, S3, Dynamo DB, Graddle
  • Experienced in automated functional testing using tools like Cucumber.
  • Well versed with Agile methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • Lead the technical development and delivery of backend services in the retail environment.
  • Provide technical leadership in the evaluation, conceptualization, design, and development of major new capabilities.
  • Provide strong technical expertise in application architecture & help create long term vision on architecture.
  • Oversee the quality of the code and products throughout the entire development lifecycle (DevOps)
  • Drive for continuous improvement in performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, usability, and availability of the platform.
  • Help team analyze and adopt newer technologies.
  • Leverage agile methodology concepts for quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in sprint planning and other scrum ceremonies. Help team plan and execute sprint tickets.
  • Monitoring and supporting health of services in production.

 

As a senior software engineer, responsibilities include.

  • Working with your local team and other geo-graphically dispersed engineering teams to provide technical expertise on development and architecture.
  • Partner with product owner to understand requirements, define an MVP for features, and agree upon timelines.
  • Collaborating with other engineering teams and architecture to develop new features.
  • Working with infrastructure teams to ensure we have the right store environment for proper functioning of the applications.
  • Working with application privacy and security teams to ensure the application is properly architected and maintained.
