INTERVIEW TYPE: Phone or Video call
Note: This is for JAVA LEAD role with at least 2 yrs on Lead role
DESCRIPTION:
NYS ITS IES Specialist Level 3
- Daily activities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibilities will include system analysis of existing source code or applications and produce documentation, business process or system flows, and business rules.
- Arrange programming sequence by analyzing source code; preparing workflow charts and diagrams using technical capabilities, programming language, and logic.
- Produce data mapping and specifications related to data structure
- Produce work products and deliver artifacts in line with business needs and project plan.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
1. Level III- More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Specialist
2. More than seven (7) of experience in implementing Java applications using JSP, EJB, JMS, Spring, Web Services, JPA/Hibernate
3. More than seven (7) years of experience in analyzing and debugging SQL queries, stored procedures (eg. PL/SQL code) and working with data in relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL etc.
Preferred Requirements:
1. More than five (5) years experience in implementing web applications using scripting languages Java Script framesworks in Angular JS, React JS and Node JS for front-end technologes
2. More than five (5) years experience as analyzing existing Java applications collaborating with internal teams to produce documentation related to business processes and business rules
3. More than five (5) years experience in analyzing pseudo code implemented in various languages such as COBOL, Java, .Net
4. More than two (2) years experience using business modeling tools to document business process flows
5. More than five (5) years experience implementing request-driven frameworks such as JSF, Primefaces, Spring MVC
