ETL Data Stage Developer
6 months (but this is a long-term role)
Remote till September Onsite (Buffalo, NY ) after September 2021
- Looking for 8 plus years overall experience
- Experience in coordination with offshore
- TECHNICAL SKILLS: Data Stage, Greenplum, Oracle, SQL Server, SSRS, WebFocus, Shell Scripting, AWS, Automic, Control M
- Must have worked with Reputed Clients
The onsite technical coordinator would be responsible to support the Care Management team in onboarding a new vendor. Requires Coordination with different teams to understand the requirements, give clear direction to the team to implement.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinating with business, client technical teams and with offshore.
- Development of ETL jobs using DataStage.
- Providing support during QA activities
- Single Point of Contact for the customer
- Provide support during UAT and Production deployments.
Required Skills:
- Around 8+ years of experience in Analysis design and development of data warehouse and database solutions.
- Good understanding of Data warehousing and ETL concepts and business application, business dataflow and data relation in US healthcare industry.
- Responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation, and load of data functions in the company.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting and solving complex technical problems.
Maintenance support of existing ETL Batch jobs. - Coordination with Business for understanding the requirements and support onshore/offshore coordination.
- Experience in Data Warehousing projects ensuring the data meets the business requirements, also good work experience in Datastage, Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Linux, AWS
- Having good communication skills, Interpersonal relations, hardworking and result - oriented as an Individual and in Team.
- Have extensive experience in requirement analysis, database design & development
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong technical background and result oriented team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding and experience in unstructured data management and modeling concepts (Data belonging to different domain like Health care, web usage data and relational data).
- Driving critical issues in Datastage/DB/Automic with various teams to resolution
- RCA analysis for adhoc issues from business/service delivery team
- Gather in detail business requirements, Collaborate with offshore team and business teams to clarity requirement gaps
- Establish work path for offshore in terms of identifying the servers/environments and accesses
- Point of contact from ETL for priority issues for various product teams
- Handling meetings of service delivery intake/planning for upcoming initiatives
- Planning and estimation for major projects
- Production support and on-call support for critical issues
- Good understanding on Agile and Participate in team agile tasks and sessions such as story estimation, sprint planning demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Nice to have .Net/App Dev exposure
